The Speech Pathology Department at Community Howard Regional Health System is the place for speech, language and hearing services. Our mission is to provide excellent and personal service to those who experience speech, hearing, language, or swallowing difficulties.

Speech-Language Pathology encompasses many areas of therapy. These include:

• articulation therapy for children and adults
• language therapy for children and adults
• language and cognitive therapy for children and adults
• fluency therapy for children and adults who stutter
• voice therapy for children and adults
• voice therapy for tracheostomy adults
• oral-motor therapy for children and adults who experience facial and tongue weakness
• pure tone hearing screen for children and adults
• modified barium swallow studies for adults 
• oropharyngeal swallowing assessment and therapy for children and adults
• dysphagia therapy for children and adults 

All services are available in the inpatient acute care hospital with a physician referral. Limited adult outpatient services are available at Community Howard Regional Health System West Campus with a physician referral.

Our office hours are from 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
